Hydroelectric dam of Ngoulmendjim and Dibwangui
We have assisted the sovereign wealth fund of Gabon (FGIS) and their partner Eranove, in: the negotiation and the draft of the concessions as well as all related contracts of the hydroelectric dam of Ngoulmendjim and Dibwangui and drinking water plant in Ntoum.
An other example would be our assistance of the sovereign wealth fund of Gabon (FGIS) and their partner Meridiam, in the negotiation and the draft of the concessions of the hydroelectric dam of Kinguele Aval.
2018 has also been the year where we have assisted our client SFM Africa Ltd. to close the first green integrated project of the Congo Basin, by the signature of the Grand Mayumba agreement and the Mayumba port concession. (Image of Mayumba.)
Oil and Gas
With his 30 years of experience in tax law, Gaetan Mboza is the driving force of the oil, gas and tax team.
In 2018 Alevina & Partners has been chosen by the most active operators in the country to negotiate permits and PSC and preform due diligence.
The oil and gas team has also regularly been chosen during the past years for multi jurisdictional disputes by some of the main oil and gas actors of the country.
Project Finance
Since project finance has always been the main core skill of Alevina and Partners, our portfolio has extended and we are proud to have assisted our client GuarantCo to close in 2018 the first Xaf 33 billion corporate bond for the Gabon Special Economic Zone (GSEZ).
Acting as the preferred legal counsel of Afrexim in Gabon we had the privilege to assist them in many cross boarder transactions in the last few years, notably in 2018 the CDC Gabon loan of €30 million euro.
